There are certain sections of the Green that have exploded with Mormon Crickets... this is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen... These are 2 inch long monster crickets... they are pouring into the Green... They are only in a few spots but where you can find them you may find some very happy trout... they may or may not be willing to eat a size 2 fat albert... FISHING IS INSANE right now

That is insane! Gotta be a lot of fun fishing with a dry/foam fly that big though! I'm surprised the trout weren't lined up in a row just picking off the floaters. I'd be too afraid to get too close, I don't mind bugs much, but those things are huge. Wouldn't want to get one of those down my waders! Great fly - any chance you could post the pattern and recipe?
